About Us
First of all our name comes from the first letter of each of our 3 children's names. They are our 3 little miracles and this amazing journey would not be possible without them! Life would be so boring without kids right!? (Humans and goats!) Ha
Anyway, we are located in northern Missouri. I (momma) was born and raised on this very farm. We grew up raising Angus cattle as a family operation and still do! When I was a kid I showed sheep for 4-H and my FFA project was a small herd of Angus steers but I've always had a love for goats. I have had dairy breeds including Nubian, Alpine, Saanen and Lamancha. We just started our Boer Goat herd in 2016 because my children are growing up and have joined our local 4-H chapter. We do love our Angus cattle but because of their large size and strength, we thought goats would be a much nicer alternative. And of course we choose the almighty Boers! A good solid hardy breed!
We certainly love the qualities of a show ring winner but our goal is to teach our children about leadership, responsibility...basically just teaching them what life is all about with these goats and the farm. It's always fun to win a trophy but it's more important to be humble and have good sportsmanship.
This page is here to keep you updated on all the goodies around the farm. We do sell our kids. We should have fall and spring crops each year.
